 Installation Instructions

Locate the dock drawings most similar to your dock configurations as general guidelines (dockbubblers.com, system selector).

Place the pump-box in the center of the dock section closest to shore. Uncoil the bubbler line and ensure the bubbler tubing is firmly seated into each weight, at about a 5 foot intervals. Close to shore, position the first bubbler hole, (near the pump-box), should have 18” of water, to ensure the bubbler tubing is below the potential ice line.

Following the similar dock configuration guidelines, and after attaching one side of the bubbler line a pump-box hose coupler, lay the bubbler tubing temporarily on top of the dock, walking and laying it down along the dock edge (perimeter) as close to the posts as possible around that section, as required, using the black feeder tubing for over-dock routing to connect multiple loops, and back to the pump box.

Plug in the pump, into a AC GFC outlet. Never plug in the pump when it’s wet or when standing in water. With the air flowing, lower the bubbler line into the water, walking around the dock edge.

For larger systems with a multi-line valve manifold, adjust the valves to equalize bubble action around the dock.

If you notice sections without bubbles, there maybe water in the lines. Take out the bubbler lines and allow to drain and with air flow, reinstall.

At season's end, thoroughly clean all bubbler lines draining water, wiping down and cleaning and allow to air dry. Lake sentiment (slime!) will harden and clog bubbler lines if not well cleaned before seasonal system storage.

Please note, while DockBubblers do a great job keeping stationary ice away from your dock, moving ice flows, current or wind driven may still damage your dock. This condition is a higher risk for locations within long straight or open sections of shoreline.
